In view of the alleged shortage in the supply of sugar in the market for the last few weeks of 2009 and its resulting swift increase in price, the Dept. of Trade Industry has coordinated with the Sugar Regulatory Administration under Administrator Rafael L. Coscolluela (left, with glasses) to discuss with sugar distributors and retailers (STC, middle background) on how to even out supply to the market at affordable prices.
